About the Foundation

Founded in 1997 by Bill Lobeck and Kathy Taylor, the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation (LTFF) has grown into a second generation investment in making Tulsa an innovative, collaborative and thriving city. Under the leadership of Taylor’s daughter, CEO Elizabeth Frame Ellison, LTFF has grown to encompass a variety of programs and community partnerships all dedicated to achieving our mission: to decrease barriers for Tulsans with big ideas. To fulfill this mission, the Foundation acts as a grantmaker, innovator, and convener.

LTFF supports the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems in Tulsa through LT Operating Foundation, (LTOF) a 501(c)3 principally funded by LTFF. LTOF is dedicated to building and sustaining generational wealth and launching and scaling small businesses by advancing equity, pride of place, physical infrastructure and economic activity. LTOF programs currently include Mother Road Market, Kitchen 66, Shops at Mother Road Market which are part of the larger placemaking strategy in the Tulsa Market District.

LTFF's Board of Directors approve the budget for LTOF annually in addition to setting the vision and strategic goals of both organizations. LTFF performs complementary grantmaking work to LTOF’s programs, which increase economic activity and equitable growth and development of 11th Street between Peoria Ave. and Harvard Ave. and surrounding neighborhoods in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation and LT Operating Foundation and its programs are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national or ethnic origin, age, status as an individual with a disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
