In my new role as Partnerships Director, I have the honor of curating the experience for everyone walking through the door of LTO | MKT. If you haven’t yet had the chance to visit, LTO | MKT -- the Limited Time Only Market -- is a retail storefront popup space within the Shops at Mother Road Market that features a curated collection of local and national finds. We use themes such as art, community and travel to build interactive and innovative experiences that support and highlight great causes, local makers, artists, entrepreneurs and even national brands. Our goal is to create unique, one-of-a-kind experiences that amplify the vibrancy of the creative and entrepreneurial spirit in Tulsa. Even further, we want to create meaningful and impactful opportunities for discovery: discovery of incredible brands, artists, and products, discovery of community and opportunities for common ground, and discovery of excellence interwoven into the thread of everything you’ll find.

This month, our lens of discovery within LTO focuses on incredible Black Owned Businesses and Artists, mostly local to Tulsa and Oklahoma. As we find ourselves within Black History Month, a powerful opportunity to reflect, energize and uplift, we acknowledge that creativity, resiliency, determination, and innovation defines much of the history we honor and celebrate, and the future we hope to build.

Their creativity, innovation, resilience and determination in the form of their businesses, products and art, now adorns LTO | MKT as a reminder that Tulsa, Oklahoma, this country, and this world is undoubtedly full of so much talent, excellence and possibility from every background, race and creed.
