Earlier this year, LTO | MKT transformed into a space that intentionally featured and celebrated almost 30 women-owned businesses and artists. It was a true honor of mine to curate and showcase their undeniable talent, diversity, resilience and sheer force as a reflection and affirmation of both the individual and collective power of women. These incredible entrepreneurs and artists - one of whom had just given birth months prior to the takeover - came from all walks of life, backgrounds, business areas, art disciplines, and varying ages - our featured entrepreneurs and artists consisted of college students, grandmothers and everything in between.

If you visited LTO | MKT this past March, during Women’s History Month, you found items for your home, skincare and beauty products, jewelry, clothing, fashion accessories and spectacular art. Our team proudly showcased this incredible talent during Women’s History Month to mark our support of women entrepreneurs and artists who as a whole were disproportionately affected by Covid-19, and constantly face so many additional barriers of entry to entrepreneurship and sustained small business growth. Our March takeover not only showcased the talent of these women entrepreneurs, but also the magnitude of community support; we were so grateful to have the community so significantly join us in standing with women, supporting local, and creating pathways for women-owned businesses and artists to thrive.

LTO | MKT was designed specifically to connect resources and opportunities to reduce barriers for retail entrepreneurs and artists to grow their businesses and brands and extend their community networks.
