Mother Road Market Announces Monthly Kids Cooking Class Series
Next class to be held Sat, May 7, celebrating a Mexican-style menu for Cinco de Mayo
April 25, 2022 | Tulsa, OK – Mother Road Market is kicking off an exciting new series that will allow kids to tap into their culinary skills while surrounded by some of Tulsa’s favorite chefs and restaurants at Oklahoma’s only nonprofit food hall. Each month, Chef Bill Harris will teach kids how to prepare a variety of dishes from diverse cuisines, including Italian, Mexican, Canadian and American.
Classes are recommended for children ages 6 - 12, and will take place on the first Saturday of each month from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. through the end of the year at the Mother Road Market Demonstration Kitchen. The next class will be held on Saturday, May 7, featuring a Mexican-style menu in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
During the class, parents will be treated to complimentary charcuterie from Curds & Whey Gourmet and are encouraged to enjoy sips at The WEL Bar and explore Mother Road Market.
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased through the EventBrite link, posted two weeks prior to the event on motherroadmarket.com and www.facebook.com/motherroadmarket.
