Third Annual Mother Road Market Medallion Hunt Starts May 5

Scavenger hunt spans Route 66 roadside attractions

April 28, 2022 | Tulsa, Okla. – Mother Road Market is kicking off summer with the third annual Medallion Hunt - a fun, family friendly challenge to find one of eight hidden medallions along the stretch of Route 66 between Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Each week on Thursday, from May 5 to June 23, clues will be published in the Mother Road Market newsletter that will lead hunters to different roadside attractions along Route 66.

This year, Mother Road Market teamed up with AAA Road Fest for a collaboration to take this hunt to the next level. Winners will receive a pair of tickets to either the Oklahoma City AAA Road Fest happening June 18-19 at the Bennett Event Center or the Tulsa AAA Road Fest happening June 25-26 at the SageNet Event Center. Each Road Fest celebration is helping Route 66 enthusiasts, travelers and businesses gear up for the centennial of America’s Mother Road in 2026. Additionally, winners will receive a $50 gift card to Mother Road Market.
